hello batchmates here are some REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT updates i've received from sec3s, do take note!

FAREWELL

1. For the individual groups' talentime performance, please note that your performace HAS got to be linked with the theme: Blast From the Past. Do take note of this esp when sending in your email to the sec3s regarding your performance details.

2. As the overall farewell theme is Blast From the Past, do note that the BATCH PERFORMANCE also has gotta link with the theme yups.

3. ALL farewell proposals was due LAST FRIDAY. {both batch and individual groups} so please send your proposals to the email {given in batch blog} asap!

4. Do also note that there is NO NEED for a i/c for farewell, however, 1 representative has to send the sec3s our batch performance details to their batch email asap.

BATCH ACTIVITY

1. i/c's {hannah and gwen} please inform the sec3s via their batch email that you both are the i/c's for this activity asap

2. Proposal for the batch activity is due this friday, 8pm, send to batch'08 email.

3. Stuff to be included in proposal: general details; timeframe; manpower allocation; logistics. Do also include a wet weather plan should the activity be conducted outdoors.

ATC PROPOSALS

some of us may not have started on the proposals, but just for y'all to take note:

1. For the patrol action plan, you'd need to include the due dates for the first, second, third, fourth drafts of each proposal, as well as the dates for precamp training for that particular activity {i.e. outdoor cooking}. As the due dates for proposals draft 2,3,4 are not confirmed, please still include them in your first draft of the proposal, just leave the date as TBC.

2. There is one patrol {idk which one} that has yet to submit the holiday schedule for their patrol (?) so please do submit it asap too.

hey batchmates, just to be clear,

BATCH ACTIVITY

is for ATC camp, we've settled the i/c's {hannah and gwen} right?
details on the activity that we're planning as a batch for camp are found on the infinity email, and we're supposed to inform the sec3s on whose the i/c so {hannah/gwen} do tell the sec3s! {email is on our batch blog ...} its actually just 1hr where our batch plans for an activity {games i guess} for camp, and only sec1s / us are participating. so we like .. need to discuss on what activity y'all would want to do for this 1hr.

is for farewell(: {go see the batch blog..} i think we're supposed to have like 1 or 2 i/c ('s).
as for what we're doing for farewell item, are y'all with zi ning's idea? {actually we need to send in the thing already ...}

Hello Batchmates!

It shall be settled that we shall use Shanisse's idea for the batch07 gift okay? I want to decorate HAHAH. =D

Since the deadline is tonight 8pm, I have decided to sponsor my idea for our farewell performance. =D

There’s this girl (For e.g., Emily) who meets another girl (For e.g., Yvonne) when school started. Yvonne is helping Emily all the time, encouraging her and supporting her. For example, she is always getting bullied by other people in her school, but under Yvonne’s help, Emily is freed from being a target of the bullies. But one day, when Emily cheating in a test, Yvonne does not come and help like she usually would. Emily is angry at her and a cold war occurs. After a few days, Yvonne is about to migrate to a foreign country. She decides to send Emily a letter, explaining how she helped Emily because she wanted her to become stronger and have her own stand. However, she did not help Emily on that day because she was in the wrong and she has to face the music. She hopes that Emily will learn to stand strong and not over depend on others. Emily realises the truth but it is too late.

At this point the scene can freeze (showing Emily holding the paper), and the rest of the members of our group can come out and say our thanks for batch07. Something like,

“Maybe it’s too late, or maybe it’s still early, but we want to take this opportunity to thank you for Guiding us all these while.”

“We were like Emily, you were like Yvonne. You helped us when we needed it, and we thank you for that.”

“We will try our best to be strong and independent.”

But other than dancing, singing, skit, I can't think of anything else. In my opinion a skit is likely to win the hearts of people.

My group has sent the details to batch08. for our batch one right, I don't think anyone sent? or let's wait for them to give us reminders again?

i was thinking like maybe our batch can give batch07 a gift for their farewell.
perhaps a CUSTOMISED NOTEBOOK OMG :D
hahaha. ahem.
it's like a black plain notebook [available from pacific at 1.80] and then like we can draw a particular person at the front and write her name.
then at the back of the notebook we can draw all of them holding hands together!
YAY.
oh but we need to find a nice artist/nice artists :D

for our sec2 batch activity, we'll need to nominate 2 i/c's , those not holding any roles in atc {e.g. subcamp i/c, PL or PS } are encouraged to be nominated as the i/c.
